Following A Recipe For Honey Chocolate Chip Cookies

By Stephanie Green

Whether you are a skilled or novice baker, you might prefer recipes that are easy to follow and have proven results. You also might want a recipe for honey chocolate chip cookies that can yield several dozen in a single baking. The one you choose to follow may be easy enough to complete without going to a lot of time or effort. You also may get delicious treats that you can share with your loved ones.

They key to getting started involves making sure you have the right ingredients on hand in your fridge or cupboard. Without all of these things, you probably will not be able to carry out the process required for yielding the right results. The main ingredients that you will be required to have on hand are all-purpose flour, white and brown sugars, vanilla, eggs, baking chips and baking soda as well as measuring devices.

After you make sure you have everything on hand, you can then make a creamed mixture by blending the sugars, vanilla, and eggs together. This step can be carried out with a hand held mixer or with a wire whisk. As it comes together in a smooth blend, you may then put it aside while you mix together all of the dry ingredients including the baking soda and flour.

Your next step involves mixing the dry ingredients. This is the part where you may want to use a spoon or a wire whisk. Using a hand held mixer could make the flour, baking soda, and others fly out of your bowl and on to your clothing or table top. Instead, you might mix them slowly and carefully, ensuring it all stays in the bowl where they belong. The dough ideally will become moist and crumbly.

The last step would be to mix in the chips. This process may be done with care so the chips do not bounce out of the mixing bowl. After you have everything mixed together, you may then start forming the balls of dough to be baked.

Putting the balls on a baking sheet that is not greased or oiled will result in the cookie treats sticking to the pan. You will not be able to use a spatula to pry them from the surface. Instead, you might use lubricants like margarine, spray oil, coconut oil, or even butter. These lubricants ensure the balls of dough do not stick as they are being baked in the oven.

Once you remove the cookie pans from the oven, you might allow them enough time to cool. As they cool, you could use a wide spatula to remove each cookie. The surface of your spatula will hold the weight of the cookie and prevent it from breaking while it is transferred to a cooling rack. Cooling racks can be substituted with a sheet of foil or wax paper. You may allow them to cool for 30 minutes to an hour.

When you want to bake up several dozens of chocolate chip cookies with honey in them, you might wonder what the recipe is. The simplest one calls for very few ingredients. They tend to bake up quickly and can yield several dozen at one time so you have plenty on hand for you and your family.
