Sunflower Butter Vs. Peanut Butter


A wide variety of nuts are used in preparation of butter, right from almonds and peanuts (which are not true nuts) to sunflower seeds and soybean. In terms of taste, peanut butter is sweeter as compared to sunflower butter. However, the latter is known for the heavy flavor which happens to be its characteristic trait. While both are used as a spreads, peanut butter is also used for the preparation of jellies and chocolates. Sunflower seed butter, on the other hand, is used for preparation of several dishes right from cakes and stuffing to salads and vegetable dishes. Sunflower butter is also considered to be an apt replacement for peanut butter, especially for those who are allergic to peanuts. In terms of taste, it is very difficult to say which is better considering that the choice of taste differs from person to person. While many people prefer to go with sweet taste of peanut butter, there do exist some who prefer the typical heavy flavor that comes with sunflower butter.
