Ingredients
  • Chopped Fresh Tomatoes: 4 cups
  • Chicken Broth: 2 cups
  • Sliced Onion: 1
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Cloves: 4
  • Sugar: 2 teaspoons
  • Flour: 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
Procedure: Mix the tomatoes, onions, cloves and chicken broth in a pan and add some water. Boil the mixture for 20 minutes over medium heat. Pour the mixture in a blender and blend it well. Melt the butter in the pan now and add the flour to make roux. Let the roux turn medium brown. Then add the blended mixture slowly so that no lumps are formed. Let it boil for a while. Finally add sugar and salt as per taste. The soup can be served to 5-6 people.

Procedure: Mix chopped tomatoes, onions, sugar, salt and pepper in the pan and boil slowly at low temperature. When cooked, strain and set the mixture aside. Now melt the margarine in the pan and add the flour. Stir well. Whisk in the milk now. Cook it until it is thickened. Add the tomato mixture slowly and boil it gently. The soup can be served to 2 people.
