Easy Fudge Recipes


Making fudge isn't very difficult. Finding variations in recipes is again, simple. What's difficult, is finding the easy ones. While you can easily buy any flavor you like, making it at home gives you the freedom to experiment. The most simple form of fudge includes only milk, butter and sugar. Whatever little or more you add to it, is a new recipe. However, to save you from the thinking, we've given you three of the most simple fudge recipes you can try your hand at. Remember, no kitchen is complete without some fudge in it!

3 Mouth-Watering Easy Fudge Recipes You Can Make

1: Marshmallow Fudge

Ingredients
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 12 (1 ounce) squares German sweet chocolate
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
Procedure

Add marshmallow creme to chocolate chips and German sweet chocolate in a big bowl. Mix well and keep aside. Take a big pan and add evaporated milk, butter, salt, sugar to it, bring to a boil and cook for about 6 minutes, over medium heat, stirring continuously. Pour this hot mixture of sugar and milk over the chocolate mixture, which was kept aside and also stir in pecans. Spread this mixture on 10X15 inch pan, let it stand until firm to cut. Then cut into squares and serve. This was an easy chocolate fudge recipe.

2: Butterscotch Fudge

Ingredients
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup walnut pieces
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Procedure

On top of a double boiler, melt butterscotch morsels and chocolate along with milk. Stir constantly, until the ingredients melt and the mixture starts to thicken. When the mixture thickens, remove it from heat. Now add vanilla and walnuts to it, blend well. Once the mixture is well blended, pour it into a 9X9X2 inch, well greased pan. Refrigerate until the mixture becomes enough to slice.

3: White Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbs orange extract
  • Orange food coloring (or a combination of red and yellow)
  • 1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
  • 6 ounces butter
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow cream (or fluff)
Procedure

First prepare a 13X9 pan, by lining it with a nonstick cooking sprayed, aluminum foil. Next take a saucepan and put butter, sugar and cream in it. Mix and heat the mixture until the sugar dissolves and the butter is melted, brush the sides of the pan with a wet pastry brush. Boil the mixture, and once it starts boiling, stir for about 4 minutes. When boiled, remove from the heat and add marshmallow cream along with the chocolate chips, stir. Continue stirring until the chocolate has completely melted and is smooth. Now pour of the mixture into a bowl and set aside, add orange food coloring, orange extract to the remaining mixture and stir until it becomes of even color. Remember to act quick as there is a possibility of the fudge get set, before the procedure is over.

Now pour the orange fudge, the orange mixture in the prepared pan and drop spoonful of white mixture, which was kept aside, on the top of the orange fudge, in an even layer. To create orange white swirls, simply drag a table knife or toothpick over the fudge. Refrigerate for 1 hour, while removing the fudge from the pan, pull it out using foils as handles. Use as sharp knife, cut it in squares then store in an airtight container, in the refrigerator for about a week. Bring to room temperature and serve.

You can make fudge using these recipes, with a few of your additions too. You can also serve this fudge with ice cream and s'mores. If you are serving it with these, serve it hot!
